Audio-only recording. My pre-VCR days. Recorded on an audio cassette with a microphone up to the TV speaker, August 25, 1983. Listen and you can hear crickets out the window. Received in Philadelphia 145 miles DX with an indoor antenna. I provided the color bars for video.

Green Mountain Coffee kicks-off Waterbury Good Neighbor Fund fundraiser.
Filed Under Nonprofit | Comments Off
The Waterbury Good Neighbor Fund, a Vermont non-profit raises funds for Waterbury residents in need of emergency financial assistance. The money pays for heating oil, rent, car repairs and gas cards. Each year the fund donates $7,000 to residents. This year the fund has paid out about $1,000 per month as the number of requests continues to rise.
On December 5th, 2008 Green Mountain Coffee kicked-off it’s Donation Tree Fundraiser at our Waterbury Visitor Center and Cafe. Watch the ribbon cutting and hear from the Fund’s organizer Reverend Peter Plagge of the Waterbury Congregational Church.
